Using Bytelify

Bytelify provides free, browser-based developer tools (formatters, converters, generators, and validators). By using this site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

No warranty

Tools are provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. While we test tools for correctness, we can't guarantee outputs are error-free or fit for any particular purpose — always verify results before relying on them for anything important (production code, financial data, legal documents, etc.).

Generated data is not real

Tools that generate sample data — fake addresses, credit card numbers, UUIDs, MongoDB ObjectIds, lorem ipsum text, and similar — produce data for testing and development only. It is not real, not unique, and must not be used to impersonate a real person, document, or financial instrument.

Acceptable use

Don't use Bytelify to violate any law, to attack, scan, or abuse third-party systems, or to interfere with the site's operation for other users. Tools involving network requests (where present) are rate-limited and intended for legitimate personal and development use.

Limitation of liability

Bytelify and its operator are not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or its tools, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Changes

We may update these terms as the site evolves. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
