The short version

Every tool on Bytelify runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Text, files, and data you paste or upload into a tool are processed on your device and are never transmitted to Bytelify's servers, stored, or logged. There is no account, no sign-up, and no server-side processing of your tool inputs.

Information we do not collect

We do not collect, store, or have access to anything you type, paste, or upload into any tool on this site — JSON payloads, passwords you're formatting, code you're minifying, or any other tool input. That processing happens locally in your browser and disappears when you close or reload the tab.

Standard web server logs

Like virtually every website, Bytelify is served through infrastructure (Cloudflare) that automatically logs basic technical request data for security and reliability purposes — things like IP address, browser user-agent, requested URL, and timestamp. This is standard hosting infrastructure logging, not something Bytelify configures or queries for tracking purposes.

Cookies and advertising

Bytelify may display advertisements served by third-party advertising companies, including Google. These companies may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
